有一天，Chester拿到了一盒拼圖，他很努力很努力的拼，但就是沒辦法把整個拼圖拼完…..

Once upon a time, a little boy called Chester got a box of jigsaw puzzle pieces.
從前，有個叫Chester的小男孩得到了一盒拼圖。

For a six-year-old boy, a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle is very challenging.
對於一個六歲的小男孩來說，1000片的拼圖太難了。

But Chester is a clever and confident boy who believes that he could do anything.
但Chester是一個聰明自信的小男孩，相信自己什麼都能做成。

In the picture, a little girl is looking into a lovely room through the window.
這幅拼圖是一個通過視窗向臥室裡張望的小女孩。

Her eyes seem to fix on the two birds that happen to rest on the table.
她的眼睛好像正盯著桌子上的兩隻鳥在看。

Chester began to piece up the jigsaw puzzle from the outer rim.
Chester開始從拼圖的外圈開始拼了。 

Soon, the windows come out.
不一會兒，窗戶拼出來了。

The birds and trees come out.
鳥兒和樹拼出來了。

The little girl’s face come out….
小女孩的臉也拼出來了….

But wait! It’s the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle, but he couldn’t find the piece of the little girl’s right eye!但是！還剩一塊拼圖沒拼，而他找不到小女孩右眼的那幅拼圖了！

Chester looked at the blank space in the 99.9% finished jigsaw puzzle and wondered where the most important piece went.
Chester看著完成99.9%只空著一塊的拼圖，納悶那最重要的一塊去了哪裡。 

He started looking for the missing piece under his bed, inside his pillow.
他開始在床下，枕頭裡找那塊不見的拼圖。

And even in the refrigerator!
甚至冰箱裡也翻過了！

But he could not find it. He felt very sad, as if the world is not whole any more.
但是他找不到，他很傷心，仿佛世界也不完整了。

“This is a 1000-piece puzzle, but I’ve only got 999 pieces.”
“這是個1000片的拼圖，我卻只有999片。”

Feeling down, he put his hands inside his pockets, and there! He felt something!
正感到沮喪時，他把手放進了口袋。感到有什麼東西在裡面！

It was the missing piece! It was in his pockets all the time.
正是那片丟失的拼圖！那片拼圖一直在他的口袋裡。
